My friend and I kick off every January with a 50 km in memory of loved ones lost. Signing up for the 60 North Run keeps is motivated to run on the remaining dark days of the month.

By participating in the 60 North Run, it makes me get outside in the winter and enjoy the weather, get more fresh air than I would normally. I enjoyed the sense of community and encouragement from others. Loved all the beautiful photos from people all over the country, some amazing winter landscapes.

I consider myself to be motivated to move everyday but the 60 North Run in January has been the extra push I need to open the year. Last year I felt the strong community pushing each other - especially those who experience huge snowfall at that time. It’s great to see people trudging through piles of snow to get a kilometer in. This is worth every cent and our bodies are happy for it.

Anyone who knows me knows that winter is my least favourite season…
Enter 60 degrees North Winter Warrior and It’s STILL winter… Yea gets me motivated to move during my most challenging time of the year. I love these challenges and look forward to them every year. The medals are beautiful but the best reward is the feeling motivated through the darkest hardest part of winter

Participating in the 60 North Run Challenge was an extraordinary experience! This challenge pushed me to new limits, both mentally and physically, while fostering a deep sense of accomplishment.
