4. Growth Hacking workshop by Vaibhav Sisinty ↗️ -
This was a bonus that dropped in my inbox and was definitely an amazing one. I learned so many new terms, majorly the difference between marketing and growth and Vaibhav's own experience. Absolutely loved the energy.

From Google searches to customized Netflix recommendations, AI has been a part of our daily routines for years. Its ability to quickly analyze vast amounts of data has revolutionized the way we live, enabling us to better target our audience and optimize marketing campaigns. However, the effectiveness of AI depends largely on the clarity and precision of our requirements.
Recently, I had the privilege of attending a workshop hosted by Radhika Chugh and conducted by GrowthSchool. The session helped me understand how we can use these tools to our advantage in an effective and efficient manner. It also shed light on some truly useful tools such as -
Jitter - For creating interactive content and motion design.

The D S A L Method
✅ D - Descriptive, Names that characterize the brand's activity eg: Snapchat, Paypal, etc..
✅ S - Suggestive, Apple, Sky, OZ, Red Bull - They Create an evocative atmosphere for the users.
✅ A - Abstract, Like Google, skype, kodak, and yahoo are eg. words that have strong memorable sounds and the ability to acquire new meanings.
✅ L - Legacy, This includes founders' names such as Ferrari, Chanel etc

Two days of pure knowledge and hands-on SQL. SQL is a language that I have always neglected, even though I know it's the most important one. I am really glad I signed up for this workshop arranged by GrowthSchool along with Jahanvee Narang. With the help of practical learning along with case studies that one faces while working, I am certainly more comfortable with SQL now. Jahanvee Narang also covered some advanced topics like CTE, Ntile, etc., which surely broadened my way of seeing SQL. Thanks to GrowthSchool for arranging such a valuable workshop, and thanks to Jahanvee Narang for all the knowledge she shared.

I recently attended a design mixer organized by GrowthSchool and was fortunate to meet the exceptional designers Saptarshi Prakash and Anudeep Ayyagari (UX Anudeep) who is also my mentor.
The mixer was packed with AMA sessions and had an opportunity to think as a designer, work with like minded people to solve a task. All the participants were divided into groups of 5 and was given 20 mins to design an e-product that sells "emotion". Each team received valuable feedbacks from the mentors.
Key takeaways:
-Always ask as many questions as possible to get better insights before starting the project.
-Always attempt to work in all the areas as a budding UX designer to gain experience. Diverge now and converge once you are aware of your skills as designer.
-Documenting every requirement is very crucial.

So, back in December, I signed up for this #Copywriting Workshop from GrowthSchool. At the time, I was feeling about as confident as a squirrel trying to cross a six-lane highway during rush hour. And then GPT peaked.
Anyhoo, I have to admit, I wasn't exactly confident enough to share my certificate right away! A 5-day crash course won’t make you the Beyonce of copywriting.
But it did, glam my game. This workshop was truly a game-changer for me, and I'm forever grateful for the knowledge I gained from such a talented instructor, Devargh Mukherjee.
Now I can conjure up insights, conflicts, archetypes, tones, and all that jazz. Sure, I may still have the occasional moment of self-doubt, but that's just because I'm human (and let's be real, a little self-deprecation never hurt anyone).

Reflecting back on my transition to a business-facing role almost 15 years ago, I recall being bewildered by the intricacies of go-to-market strategies, Monday morning sales meetings, pipeline management, and the immense impact of marketing on business outcomes. Despite the initial challenges, I am immensely grateful for the guidance and mentorship provided by the esteemed leaders I had the privilege of working alongside.
As I reflect on the evolution of the business landscape over the years, I am struck by how much has changed, yet how much remains constant. The principles of effective go-to-market strategies and impactful marketing remain as relevant today as they were over a decade ago. Specifically, I chose to focus on the critical importance of building marketing & sales structure that enables long-term success being customer centric. Being a user (from Outplay) here is how I attempted to improve the customer experience to affect some critical business metrics for India's largest Series A SaaS funded startup Keka HR.
Project Key Highlights:
✅ Interviewed couple of real Keka users for validating my hypothesis and to get more qualitative data.
✅ Insights from competitor analysis (Darwinbox and Workday) helped improve the overall experience to a better height.
Thanks to Anudeep Ayyagari (UX Anudeep) and GrowthSchool for enabling me to do this. The best part of this project is that, right from research to UI, Usability Testing and documenting a case study around the project, I did everything in a span of 72 hours which was a challenge I had set for myself, and I made it 🔥

I recently attended an insightful session at GrowthSchool on the topic of Mobile App User Acquisition by Paid Channels, led by the knowledgeable and experienced Deepabali R.. Her expertise in the field was evident as she shared valuable insights on the different channels and strategies that can be used to effectively acquire users for mobile apps.
I particularly appreciated her focus on the importance of understanding the target audience and tailoring the acquisition strategy accordingly. Her tips on measuring and optimizing performance were also very useful and I look forward to implementing them in my own work.

For the past 6+ months, I have been interested in understanding the Product Marketing landscape in India (and globally) and how it might probably shape the way jobs are designed in the future. The course covers this in detail and also helped me to understand the foundational concepts of Product Marketing, its functional metrics, and a bunch of practical frameworks and applications. But most importantly, it provided a solid structure, opened a channel of feedback and explained why everything revolves in multiple 'loops'.
Thanks for validating my hypothesis of how important it is to upskill, especially after an MBA. Hope this course adds value to future cohorts for many years to come, just as it added incremental value to me in the past 2 months.
