I've got much love for many of the people working at Cardano Foundation, but I completely agree that we need to see some serious investment from CF into the Cardano NFT space. It fits with their mission statement, and they have plenty in the treasury to fund it.
I don’t think anyone is turning on IO.
We’re frustrated with CF which is a completely separate entity.
Also the fact that Cardano devs are so vocal about issues makes me 10x more bullish because it gives us a chance of actually fixing these issues.
When you compare what it's like to be a developer here compared to any other major L1 it really is frustrating. We're basically left on our own with no support.
Out of date docs, no funding, no social engagement, nothing.
Seriously @CardanoStiftung?
Is your mission to go against what #Cardano is about? You are literally encouraging/celebrating that users can stake with a centralized entity.
This is a slap in the face to all of your stake pools.
@IOHK_Charles @InputOutputHK @JeremyFirsterCF

I don't think you've seen how inefficient they really are at operating. @Padierfind and I have both had 30+ minute calls where they had MULTIPLE employees watch us fill out a Google survey. No additional chatting or debates, just filling out a survey for verbatim.
Furthermore, it really is frustrating that they refuse to use their treasury to sponsor anything. Consensus was primarily funded by IO, not CF. They had no presence at NFT NYC. Besides the summit later this year I don't know any other events they're supporting.
Our past experience with @CardanoStiftung summarized:
Project: we need help with exposure and funding
CF: we don't give nor exposure nor funding
Project: contemplates life choices of developing on Cardano
At least #CNFTCommunity is amazing which kept us going after that chat 😢
While this is true I also believe that the CF should not act like other Crypto Foundations. We don't want to become Solana or ETH, so we also need to find our own way.
I was lucky enough to meet many members of the CF in person and raise my concerns & I believe they have an -q
You're describing exactly my experience with developing on Cardano - we reached out to various people, consulted all the documentation, and still really struggled. I actually got paranoid at one point they were deliberately working against us, when we found undocumented bugs etc.
cf and emurgo should go, only @IOHKMedia delivers
Cardano still has a big marketing and image problem.. what can we do to fix this?
This is not to defend the CF, but how much of your dayjob involves Twitter?
Just because @CardanoStiftung employees aren't on here talking to the faithful doesn't mean they aren't "doing their job"
The CF should have a team dedicated to supporting projects building on Cardano. For example, do they have account management, success roles? Do they have networkers for outreach? Seems like obvious gaps in their org
If you think it's alright to let @CardanoStiftung vote in Catalyst because of decentralisation...
Then let's be coherent and allow a vote to abolish the Foundation.
If the community votes to abolish the Cardano Foundation, will it actually happen ?
$ADA #Cardano #Catalyst
#Cardano Foundation has well above 700 million $ADA.
Heavily influencing the vote in their favour, with ADA they didn't even pay for.
Doesn't seem very fair.
CF, WHY are you injecting your political bias on discriminatory proposal ?
This is a slippery slope, where does it lead ?
📣 Is there a growing disconnect between the Cardano Foundation and the #CardanoCommunity?
Curious, as $ADA holders (and voters), are we in a position to request more from our Cardano Foundation (CF)?
