I'm gaining a lot of real-world insights from the mentors, and I hope these sessions continue.
Since I've just started, I might not have many specific queries to ask at the moment. However, having access to a Q&A database of previously asked questions really helps.

I wanted to share my thoughts on the program so far. Overall, I'm really enjoying the sessions! The content has been engaging, and I appreciate the opportunity to learn from experts in the field.
Everything seems well-organized, and I like the pace of the program. I'm excited to continue learning and exploring new topics.
I had a wonderful interaction with startup community from GrowthSchool under the mentorship of Arjun Vaidya Sir & Trisha Rajani Vaidya Ma'am
Their Contribution towards building startup ecosystem is really great. Got to learn lot many things from them.
I was so surprise that few founders noticed me whom i have taught Unit Economics in his guest session ( as an Alumni Interaction ) on 10th of August.
I have never thought that such an amazing experience of visiting the Startup Meet held on 29th of November.
Had opportunity to learn from the meetup, wonderful products being showcased and also given few feedbacks to the startup founders about Packaging, Branding & Setting of the MRP to get better ROI and having sufficient margin to work.
Thank you for the Invite to learn and contribute in Startup Ecosystem.

I recently attended a special event hosted by Arjun Vaidya and Trisha Rajani Vaidya from GrowthSchool.
It was a fantastic gathering of professionals, and I'm thrilled to share some of the memorable moments from the event. It was a great opportunity to connect, network, and learn from each other.
Big thanks to Arjun Vaidya for opening up his beautiful home for this meetup and creating a wonderful atmosphere for everyone to engage.
Looking forward to more such enriching experiences in the future. ๐ค

I recently attended a special event hosted by Arjun Vaidya and Trisha Rajani Vaidya from GrowthSchool.
About 70+ founders from different cities gathered at their cozy home in Mumbai, and Arjun's family made us all feel incredibly welcome.
Hosting so many people takes a big heart!
We had insightful discussions and received invaluable advice from Arjun and Trisha about scaling strategies for D2C businesses.
What made this event even more special was how everyone pitched in to make it a success. Even the snacks and treats were arranged by the brands in Cohort 7. To name few of these wonderful brands were Puronutโข , Mensoo Fashion , @get.sain
We also shared some goodies from NYNM Organics with our fellow cohort members.
Being in the same room as these incredible founders was truly inspiring. We not only learned from each other but also forged new friendships.
Here are a few important takeaways from the event:
๐ฐ Sometimes, ideas that challenge the norm can lead to exciting opportunities.
๐ฐ Every founder faces challenges, but the journey, determination, and consistency always lead to success.
๐ฐ Age Doesn't Define Success. I met founders in their twenties and forties. It's not about age, but the idea and how you bring it to life.
This evening showed me the power of community, working together, and the drive to do great things. It's just the beginning, and I can't wait to see what's next for all of us.

Super kicked to be a part of GrowthSchool and learn from Arjun Vaidya and Trisha Rajani Vaidya.
It was a beautiful evening of exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge with so many founders. Iโve attended a lot of networking events but this one was very different and special, because they hosted us at their home. The warmth and comfort that brings is unparalleled and I canโt wait for our cohort to start.
Thank you for your productive feedback and for ensuring that youโll be there to answer the smallest of doubts and contribute to our growth journey!

I recently had the privilege of attending an event where I had the opportunity to meet a diverse group of founders. It was an enriching experience that left me inspired and filled with new insights. The event was a gathering of innovative minds, each with their own unique perspective and entrepreneurial journey.
One highlight of the event was the chance to reconnect with Arjun Vaidya, a seasoned entrepreneur whose journey I've followed with great interest. Meeting Arjun is always a new learning curve, and this time was no exception.
To all the founders I had the pleasure of meeting, thank you for sharing your insights and experiences. Let's continue to learn from one another and make a positive impact on the business world.

Every quarter, Trisha Rajani Vaidya and I teach a cohort on D2C and e-commerce. And, this Sunday we opened up our home to see batch 7 of 100+ founders graduate :)
This is something we started just after we exited Dr. Vaidya's in April 2021.
7 cohorts in, people ask me why we spend our weekends doing this?
The answer: Because we had SO MANY unanswered questions that very few gave straight answers to.
And so, we wanted to create something for founders that was real, straightforward, and upfront.
Where they could ask questions and get actionable solutions.
The first time we couldnโt find the right location so, we just did it at home.
But, organizing the graduation at our home instead of the usual restaurant/cafรฉ/zoom has brought a whole new level of warmth and connection.
It's one thing to connect through screens, but sharing laughs and ideas in person? That's where you feel the real sense of community!
Proud to say this community is now 1,000+ founders in >2 years!
We've had tens of brands funded, 20+ go to Shark Tank, and so much inter-company learning and interaction.
Every new cohort for us with GrowthSchool ushers in a wave of fresh, diverse perspectives, broadening our collective vision.
And, let me tell you, it's not like a mentor can't learn anything. Every new set of founders teaches us something new.
So, here are some of my key takeaways from this Batch:
โ Young founders are often underestimated. The 20 year old founder from Kerala selling welcome mats while still in college showed me a whole new level of hustle :)
โNew perspectives can open new doors. Even if they challenge your norms, they're worth considering. I never thought fortified rice had a D2C play - but it does :)
โ It's okay to admit you don't have all the answers. Showing vulnerability and a willingness to learn can create a more honest and trusting relationship. This is true for everyone in the group!
The best part about this evening: all the snacks and dessert were curated by our cohort brands! Big win ๐ฅ
Witnessing these founders hit milestone after milestone, and at such an incredible pace, is nothing short of inspiring.
And yes, this is just the beginning.
PS: If you want to join the next cohort - the link is in the comments.
PPS: If you've been a part of our cohorts - shout out/share your experience below!

Rightly said, isnโt it? Thatโs exactly what #GrowthSchool does. It becomes difficult to priorities networking but because of programs like D2C mentorship program cohort by GrowthSchool, help
founders to come together under one roof. This cohort basically brings together industry experts and share their journey,
and as we (#CloudTailor) are into personalised tailoring for women, I thought it would help me better to understand the D2C space.
In this cohort, there are over 250 founders and it is a great place for us to know what experts have done in their respective fields/categories to scale their brands and the entire process behind it.
These cohorts also have city-wise meets, where everyone is inclined towards knowledge sharing and supporting each other
From working as a call centre employee in 2013 to building India's fastest-growing D2C marketing agency where I have worked with 500+ clients globally, here is my story:
I dropped out of college back in 2016.
It was a tough call and I had to soon figure out what I wanted to do.
I decided to get into the marketing space and started working with multiple agencies and product companies as a Marketing Lead & Growth Consultant.
I learned everything on the job.
There were no fancy guides and resources but mistakes and experiences that helped me learn.
In November 2018, I decided to start my entrepreneurial journey with First Sight.
ย In the first year, I struggled with clients and how to manage a small Core team of 6 people.
Soon, I met a friend who helped me discover the know-how technology and value-adding products which help you to scale faster without losing time.
This incident gave me a new perspective on Data and Analytics.
We could scale from 6 to 40+ members team and worked with more than 500+ clients globally and still 300% YOY.
Now, I analyze all Delta metrics, which gives me 10x in professional and personal aspects of life.
Life and business were shaping out greatly, but D2C by Arjun Vaidya Vaibhav Sisinty โ๏ธ and Trisha Rajani Vaidya made learning much more stimulating for me.
The community-driven approach has helped me update myself with the latest D2C knowledge and understand the psychology of a D2C founder.
More than subjective learning, the D2C community that I belong to was the biggest learning experience.ย
It is often said that an entrepreneurโs journey is lonely but this community has made the journey worth going.

How did I exactly get inclined towards the D2C Space?
Well it all started back in 2013 when I started working in the FMCG company and traditional distribution business in Middle East and later shifted to Europe post 2020, while being a CA and MBA, I realised
I was a little too curious to understand the intricacies of the Indian market and always wanted to take a deep dive into it, my experiences abroad helped me navigate my travel back to India to research on the same.
Having followed Arjun Vaidya I stumbled upon an opportunity to be mentored by him via a GrowthSchool program, it was a good chance for me to learn and build my knowledge base on the market research journey.
I always have known that, eventually I want to set up my own D2C business or work closely with a brand focused in this space.
This program made me understand that its not all hunky dory and execution is above anything. Unit economics is significant in this business considering the complexity of operations in India.
This program gave me a deep understanding on how to manage market places , operations and aggregrators etc
The D2C Community has a huge contribution, till date post completion of the program as well, my whatsapp has 1000+ notifications everyday with cohort members sharing learnings, doubts and talking about similar interests and offering help, in todayโs day and age, being a part of the community is something one should be grateful for.
Getting direct access to such huge indutrialists was a blessing in disguise that helped me learn beyond what any other online course could.
The bigger the personality, the more the arrogance was always my initial perception, But meeting Arjun Vaidya came across as a very warm experience and he was someone who extended genuine support to the entire community. He is very non-transactional and always eager to help where he can,
This is my biggest take away from this program
Iโm writing this to motivate millions of people who are D2C enthusiasts and often dont pursue their interests, take that one step and upskill yourself because educating yourself can never go wrong!

From working as a bartender after losing my father at the age of 16 to building a D2C Ayurvedic company, @ShapenYou, with my wife, here are my last 15 years of the journey:
My father was into business, so I knew I would get into business since I was a kid.
But due to unfortunate events, I lost him at the age of 16.
It led me to work in the hospitality industry as a bartender.
I even lost my mother when I was 18. Since then, I never planned anything in life but just grabbed opportunities that came my way.
As I always wanted to get out of the hospitality industry, like every confused person at that age, I decided to do an MBA.
I did my MBA in Marketing from the University of Lincoln (UK) & worked for a student couponing website in the UK (2011-12).
With my savings, I started a digital content agency, Thatscoop, in 2014, as I always felt I belong in business.
Soon we were a 30+ strong team which executed campaigns for brands like Kellogg's, Cadbury, Ford, Mercedes etc.
Everything was going well, but suddenly we landed in big trouble with GST.
It led to the cancellation of our GST number and the closing of our agency.
At that time, my wife became my great support system and helped me regain self-confidence.
With the knowledge and confidence, I gained working for these brands, I wanted to start my brand for a long time.
But I never took the first step to do so.
Finally, the pandemic gave me the final push to start an Ayurvedic D2C healthcare brand, @ShapenYou.
My struggles and interactions with other people about weight loss during the pandemic inspired me to start it.
We began as a two-member team, myself and my wife. From finalising the formulation to everything content, she has been a great help to start and grow the brand.
But I was struggling to scale it, and it seemed like I was driving in the dark.
That is when I saw a LinkedIn post by Arjun Vaidya about a D2C cohort on GrowthSchool
He and Trisha Rajani Vaidya will teach about scaling your D2C brand, so I enrolled in it.
When I saw the peer founders and their seriousness for the course, I got more motivated to learn and implement everything in my business.
Our daily sales were between 10K-15K before I joined the cohort and I was extremely proud of it.
But soon, I realised that we still haven't scratched the surface yet, and there's enough to do.
I started learning from community members' experiences which helped me make the right business decisions.
Finally, last week we achieved our daily highest sales of 2.2 lakhs.
From feeling like driving in the dark in scaling my D2C brand to having 10x+ times sales, it all happened just by implementing the knowledge shared by Arjun & Trisha.
In this journey, I realised that knowledge is probably the most valuable asset anyone has got. You just need to keep growing this asset and implement it to get the desired result.
What is the most valuable asset for anyone according to you?

Stop Your Ads & Know Your Aukat
Our sales dropped from 120+ orders to 10-18 orders a day, ๐ as we had to shut our ads till we got our new FSSAI license.
To which our investor commented -
"THIS IS OUR BRAND'S AUKAT"ย
Brutal, but the truth. We were 5-20% of our sales when the ads were shut.
Reminded me of Mahesh Patel teachings to build a sustainable brand not solely depending on ads -
Alliance Marketing (Earned Media) - Associate with people building brands in your vertical. For example- my product is in the weight loss segment, reaching out to people building fitness apps/ blogs/ brands and providing products/ services that they can provide to their users/ customers in exchange for media/ promotions. FREE PROMOTIONS!!!
Affiliate Marketing (Earned Sales) - No, it's not just adding a plugin to your Shopify store and waiting endlessly for some magic to happen. Affiliate marketing is about proactively reaching out to high-traffic relevant channels and convincing them to work with you. This will boost sales and maintain a steady revenue during festive seasons with ad costs going through the roof.
Repeat Purchase - or what Arjun Vaidya likes to call "The secret sauce of D2C brandsโ to achieve profitability.
A sustainable brand is a mix of -
Earned Media + Earned Sales + Repeat Purchase + Purchased Media & Sales
Thank you Mahesh Patel for the valuable lessons.
So, what strategies do you guys adopt to attract potential clients/customers without spending on ads? Comment below.
I recently finished the D2C Mentorship Course led by Arjun Vaidya and Trisha Rajani Vaidya on GrowthSchool.
A wonderfully-designed course for early-stage D2C founders.
Arjun and Trisha have put in everything they learned in their careers to make this course a great learning curve for every participant.
I made multiple mistakes during the last 2 years and picked up several business lessons while building Hyjiva.
This course provides a fast-track way to learn those lessons in 8 weeks.
This course not only gives you an eagle-eye view of a D2C business but takes you deeper into various issues such as:
- Product
- Brand Building
- Customer Acquisition & Marketing
- Sales, Website, and 3P Channels
- Customer Retention
- D2C Business Operations
- Team, Culture & Hyperscaling
Besides, they also invite successful D2C founders and industry experts to conduct guest sessions.
The cherry on the cake: You get an opportunity to speak one-to-one with Arjun and Trisha and clear your doubts.
Overall, itโs a must-do course for a D2C founder or anybody who wishes to start a D2C brand.
Thank you, Arjun & Trisha, for being an open book and becoming my reference point.

Hereโs what happens
When you directly get Arjun Vaidya as a mentor while building your own #D2C brand
Let me take you through my journey from being a failed startup founder to building the D2C brand for PW (PhysicsWallah)
Coming from a business background in Delhi, I always had a desire to build a profitable sustainable business and I got that chance in Aug 2019.
During my job in Nucleus Software as a senior product analyst, a friend of mine approached me to learn about credit risk models.
He had already spent 1.5 lacs rupees to learn data science from one of the top ed-tech companies, but he failed to get the job.
I mentored him and within a few months, he got a job in data science.
That is how I saw a gap in the market, i.e #upskilling people with practical skills.
And, I started Dataions as a side hustle and started teaching online about #datascience .
I wanted to make it a marketplace where top data scientists come and mentor people to get jobs at a very minimal cost of โน500 to โน3000.
As we started getting success, I left my job to pursue this side-hustle full time but the pandemic hit.
Most premium courses became free and no new jobs were there as people were losing their jobs.
But I was not in the condition to teach it for free, so I have to close Dataions.
Then I met with the co-founder of Physicswallah and joined there as a Product Manager.
I loved their vision of building Indiaโs largest affordable Ed-tech platform as this is what I was trying to do with Dataions in the field of Data Science.
I got a chance to build their D2C brand as wanted that thrilling experience of 0 to 1 journey.
But when I started it, I got stuck with lots of questions as I had never built a D2C brand before.
So, I was looking for some mentorship & I stumbled upon batch 2 of D2C mentorship by Arjun Vaidyaa and Trisha Rajani Vaidya on GrowthSchool.
Getting direct access to Arjun Vaidya has proven a game changer for me since the beginning.
He himself helped me crack strategic collaborations with some of the biggest brands.
Whatever questions I had, the community of 200+ founders helped me like anything.
I even attended the GrowthSchool D2C community offline meetup in Delhi and finally met Arjun and other community members for the first time.
We had real conversations, I made tons of new connections, and learned from the experiences of other #d2c founders.
Thank you GrowthSchool for giving me access to learn directly from D2C gurus, Arjun Vaidya and Trisha Rajani Vaidya.
Have you taken an online course, ever that has made you take a drastic business decision that could change your life? Well me neither, until very recently.
My journey with GrowthSchool has been such!
The year was 2020,
I had initially started out as an #entrepreneur on Linkedin,
Having recently moved from the family business, I tried to build my personal brand but stumbled upon multiple blockers.
Perhaps I was making the wrong connections, posting the wrong content, and having trouble connecting with the proper individuals.
All I needed was the right approach and understanding to find my target audience.
It was then that a friend recommended Vaibhav Sisinty โ๏ธ , LinkedIn Workshop.
I started applying what I had learned, and I quickly noticed improvements.
I felt more confident after the training, and now I'm using LinkedIn to make things happen for me. My content got better, and I could see that I was connecting with the right audience.
As a result of my profile optimization,
Too many good connections with fellow entrepreneurs and investors as well happened.
This was a turning point for The Nature's Palette
Things started to take off, until one day when I came across Arjun Vaidya post on Linkedin about the D2C Mentorship program
when I joined I thought it will be similar to other #startup courses with generalized pre-recorded sessions. But it had much more.
I don't have a D2C brand, but I've learned a lot, including how to calculate economic units and understand markets and branding, Today I do it on a daily basis.
which has given me the courage to launch my own D2C brand.
The experience I received throughout these eight weeks with my cohort mates was essential.
I've made friends, and we support one another in solving issues. The community sessions were so engaging, Iโve always been keen to add value.
I truly believe that the true value of the program is measured by the value you can gain, post the program completion.
Till date, it's been more than a month since we completed the program but our WhatsApp group has 1000+ notifications everyday, Thatโs the real power of community!
What could be better than learning from successful people and 150+ other like-minded entrepreneurs? The D2C Community has been so supportive, and yes
It is very well said that โIf youโre not networking, youโre not working" by Denis Waitley
