Today Simon Philpott , James H. and myself attended day 1 of the Revenue Operations Summit & Sales Enablement Summit in London. As part of the Rev Ops Summit I got the opportunity to be on a panel with Simon Gilks & Vera Skulteti, MBA to discuss “Moving towards full-scale revenue operations”. As per Gartner one of the CSO priorities for 2024 is Leading a Unified Commercial Organisation. Sales Operations Leaders are adoptioning Revenue Operations to align GTM functions and create an end-to-end revenue process resulting in predictable revenue. The takeaways were:
1) Moving towards full-scale RevOps means creating a unified strategy that aligns sales, marketing, and customer success around shared revenue goals
2) It’s important because it eliminates silos, streamlines processes, and improves customer experience. With better collaboration and data-driven decision-making, organizations can drive sustainable growth and scalability
We also had some greater speakers like Louisa Smythe , Tas Hirani , Paul Blackwell , Philippe Ruttens , Aviv Bergman , Mirjam Martin , Katyusca Barth , Jonathan Fianu. Also got to meet Sam Sutton 🚀 who did a brilliant job hosting the day. A big shout out to Will Burden for pulling this all together and for the invite.
The bonus was also meeting Sam Welch our CRO who delivered a key note on Talent Management at the CRO Summit next door.
In summary it was a day well spent and looking forward to day 2 tomorrow.
