I admit that I was skeptical about Blackwing until I tried a couple of them in life drawing sessions. They give a nice, consistent dark line, and handle beautifully. Convinced now.

Black wings are ridiculous, like you just hold them *near* the paper and they leave a perfect mark 😂 But do you actually use a lot of pencils? Curious what for. Writing, grading, drawing?

This says to me that @Blackwing knows their customer and what inspires them. You don't buy their pencils because you need a writing instrument, you do it to open yourself up to the creative forces within all of us found at the intersection of meaning and possibility.

Best present I’ve ever received- it’s called a Blackwing Point Guard - essentially its just a fancy looking lid for a pencil - but I love it. And it Doubles as a lil extention when you get down to the ‘too short to draw with’ event horizon. Is that a pencil in pocket… @Blackwing
