Last week, I had a spectacular day at the #GTM24 event in LA!

#GTM24 is the ultimate gathering of experts who share best practices and re-think go-to-market approaches.

Karen Sage, Maya Shah-Ceccotti and I discussed unlocking the company's brand to drive growth. We did a deep dive into community-led growth (CLG).

Let's refine the community beyond traditional approaches...

✅ 67% more leads for companies that have active blogs vs. those without (Source: HubSpot)
✅ 92% of B2B marketers agree that community drives insights to impact their product roadmap (Source: Salesforce)
✅ 33% YoY reduction in servicing cost for companies that focus on building support communities (Source: Aberdeen)

Here is a high-level framework for building a CLG strategy:
👉 Identify and align business goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) where you can leverage community-led growth. E.g. I want to leverage the CLG approach to drive acquisition.
👉 Develop 2-3 focus areas where you can leverage the community to help achieve those goals. E.g. How might we leverage user-generated content to drive acquisition? How might we consider leveraging influencers and their existing communities to drive brand awareness and acquisition?
👉 Set up a pilot. E.g. Identify users to generate content, think through content themes, types, distribution, etc.
👉 Test, learn, and pivot to build a scalable playbook
