I recently purchased the Dashboard Assessment and used it to review a dashboard I've been updating. The tool proves incredibly useful in identifying areas for further improvement while also acknowledging aspects that meet standards. See the picture for some part of the assessment I did. I expect it will enhance my dashboard development skills over time.
The assessment has a wide range of topics, including design process, dashboard functionality, and user support. To facilitate optimal use of the assessment tool, there's comprehensive video training totalling 1.5 hours, conveniently divided into smaller segments for easy comprehension.
I see myself using this tool during the design process to make sure the dashboard ticks all the boxes and after a while to see if it still fits the purpose

This testimonial is written a couple of weeks after following this training.
My initial reason for following this training was to get the outside perspective of another expert. I really liked the visuals and the idea of a questionnaire. How would this be grouped and would this be useful for me to implement?
The value for me during the training was the way the assessment was grouped. It starts with the foundation and then builds upon that in handy/convenient sets of questions. I directly tried the template on an existing dashboard in the organisation and found it be correct in pinpointing potential issues. The visual manner of the results then helped me in conveying the message to others and set out plans to improve it. So actual real life value.
Now weeks later I find myself using parts of this template & questions in my own design process. Helping me and my customers to address the issues upfront and together come up with a solid design. The supporting visuals are a big part of this. It helps me visuals my questions & intent during stakeholder interviews.
All in all I would definitely recommend the training.

Expertly simplifies complex information, demonstrating a profound understanding of dashboards as comprehensive products, often misunderstood as mere collections of graphs and data points. Delivered with perfect minimalist presentation. I'm totally aligned with everything so far—well played!

Fundamentals > Fancy things.
And Aurélien gathered in a template, the pillars needed to analyze a dashboard / start a project.
Template which helps me understand at a glance, if we are drifting (or not) from the goal."
