Alan is the Heston Blumenthal of frontend development. Try out his recipes and start creating delicious digital dishes that make audiences go 'Wow!'.
With experience what I have learnt is web development is not just about the ability to code, rather itβs more about ability to create something wonderful, something different. Unlike the traditional coding books where the author focuses just on the technical aspects, in this book Alan talks about other important things like photoshop, photography, content creation, etc which we all web developers struggle at one or the other point in time. I highly recommend this book for developers holding any level of experience.
Web development is multifaceted work, and this little book fits right in. Densely packed with creative ideas drawing from Alan's decades of experience, it spans a wide gamut of creativity β from photography and video, to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. If you do creative work on the web, this is worth checking out.
Looks like a really useful book for developing video and photography content, understanding the basics of coding and how to effectively bring all these together. I love the tutorial and the location! Look forward to reading the book!
Amazing Alan.
Super excited about your book release. Went through the sample and seems like it's real useful as an overall guide for web development and content creation.
P.S. The view in the video is breathe-taking.
Looks great π Alan Lavender just placed my order i look forward to it
Yes, those were the "good old" times where knowledge cost a fortune.
Gladly we're over it and price knowledge more accordingly, today. π
I find that procrastination is my mind's way of saying it needs to do more processing. Sometimes that requires more preparation or research and other times playing my guitar or having a nap. I don't beat myself up about work avoidance any more.
Yup. I found that it's better to finish my writing day preparing to write the next part. Because it's better to start my writing day actually writing. If I don't, the research and preparation becomes a form of procrastination.
Did I ever tell you, you are my best friend ever π€£π€£π€£
