Sai Ganesh lit up our (mine and my friend's) lockdown with India Wants to Know Quiz (IWTKquiz) online quizzes which we attended diligently through the last two years. Have been super impressed with his calm on-screen presence and the superb presentation of the sessions. I found out only recently that he is the brains behind the catchy campaigns of Dunzo! Very excited to learn from him and the other big guns of branding. Way to go GrowthSchool and Vaibhav Sisinty โ๏ธ. This is your best program yet. Onwards and upwards.

Is Paid marketing going to be Dead?
Well according from a consumer point of view I hate to see ads while watching a video on #YouTube, #hotstar and many other platforms also.
So what is the solution? Sooner or later I might go and purchase the paid subscription of that platform for an #ad free experience.
As per the latest data there are 50 Mn+ #youtube users are the paid subscribers, who enjoy their content without any ads. If this number increases, then the non paid users will be bombarded with ads which will lead to a bad viewing experience for them.
So the brands have to be much more productive in generating meaningful Share-Worthy content which has the potential to spread #organically not too dependent on #paidmarketing.

Often as Digital Brand/Product Managers we are asked a common question,
How do we build a Digital Brand/Product?
Is it New Tech Developments that are required or is it additional manpower that is required to drive Sales?
The answer to this lies in two simple words, read till the end to find the answer!
Key Learnings from Digital Brand Building Workshop by Aditi Anand presented by GrowthSchool :
1. Understanding the customer purchase Journey:
- Often sitting in the corporate office we forget what is the actual pain point which our customer is facing and develop a journey which we think is ideal.
2. Influencer Marketing:
- In the age of physical era, we use to take recommendation from our friends/relatives to buy a product or avail a service, today customers trust an Influencer or reviews of fellow customers to make a purchase decision.
3. Content Marketing:
- In digital, your brand has to constantly communicate with the customer. The customer has now shifted from a big television screen to a small mobile screen. The communication needs to be also short and crisp.
4. Using Social Media to its fullest:
- Brands generally use social media just to post or share updates with their customers but social media can be used for other purposes like gaining consumer insights, having a CTA for purchase or building a loyal consumer base.
5. Measuring Marketing Efforts:
- Marketing has to be effective and efficient. Effective to help you build your brand and efficient to get you the response at the lowest cost.
Now, the answer to our first question on How do we build a Digital Brand?
It's 'Customer Experience'!! The day we create digital products/journeys which actually solve a customer problem/pain point and measure the effort on no. of. satisfied customers. You have arrived as a digital first brand/product.
The aim of any digital Brand/product should be to build a loyal base of customers. Your loyal customers will be your brand advocates who will bring you new customers. As this increases, so does your top & bottom line!

๐ while in #NewAge #BrandMarketing on Social Media you will create content/communication that only a few people will like and they will talk about it / will Share it.
๐Create content not to please everyone, content should be created to get the attention of some people and they will talk about it with everyone.
