If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle. Sun Tzu
I love this, Jenny! I'm realizing it's OK to feel that fear when you are stepping out of your comfort zone. That's how you know you are doing something great! #LeadLoudly
The schedule not reflecting priorities conundrum!
Research backs your theory. Recently took deep dive into this topic:

Great tweet.

Lack of discipline & strength. When you start raising your awareness, it requires you to face your own demons. Most people donât like that nor wish to endure it. Itâs easier to just continue status quo.
for sure!
1. should you go to war with anyone over a political issue. small family = of course! big family = not worth it!
2. should you stay friends with someone even if they annoy you; small family = live your best life! big family = friends forever;
im exaggerating a bit
If you want to bake the concept of fear = opportunity into your foundation:
Introducing your #CourageMuscle
Each time you intentionally choose to lean-in vs. run away from something - record it w a date
I keep mine in Notion off my ThirtyTenZero dashboard
And now for the next time youâre looking for or needing a shift of sorts â> find your fears and dive in. The more you do it the more youâre training your mind to see fear as an opportunity.
Ideals are meant to propel or push - but rarely ever to be met.
The problem often is killing those ideals is like killing a pillar of your identity.
Mourn for 5 mins, have faith in yourself and get psyched about the unknown greatness in front of you!
I think this is why itâs so important that âhow toâ content be taught by someone who has done research on the subject. Not by someone who got lucky, but by someone who has looked into ALL the ways it can be done & can support their claim that some specific way is the best way.

Thank you! And Iâm always on the hunt for podcasts so thank you for How Did You Learn That. Right up my alley
I loved that one. My grandmother gave me a copy. I havenât thought about it for many years - thanks for the reminder!
Most people struggle with this when they speak because they lack clear frameworks to guide them.
Usually, the writer, right? Either channeling past pain, or as I like to say, âtearing a piece of yourself outâ to give to the reader
How do you think about it?
Yes and no.
For a Zoom call, I have a sense of direction and intention - a loose structure or key points to cover.
But I also donât want to have a âfull scriptâ that I force myself to adhere to.
It pulls me out of the moment.
I love how simple this was to understand and didnât take a lot of time to read. A bold point. đđź
