Not sure I like that you can recover your 24 seed words from the wallet just by cracking the spending password. Seems like a security vulnerability when people inevitably use weak passwords. Is this just a usability over security tradeoff?
Super excited for the beta release of Lace! Personally I think this’ll be a game changer for wallets!

I currently use Eternl as browser extension and Android app. If you have any experience with lace or have seen its promo videos, it seems similar but not revolutionary compared to Eternl. It doesn't seem like Charles's WiFi moment I'm hoping. I would appreciate your thoughts 🙏

Hi, just created a wallet. So it is still on the testnet right? When can we expect mainnet? Also, what happens to my ADA if I transfer it from my daedalus to my lace wallet while still on testnet? Sorry if it is a dumb question
User should opt-in voluntarily and choose "Backup my seed phrase on this device" and it will only let you do so if your spending password is secure (e.g. alpha-numeric with symbols and at least 12 characters or something)
I'm not really interested in USD value as the most prominent thing on the overview. Can that be changed to EUR or ADA?
Judging from the receive address, you use single-address mode. Does it also consider other addresses and can it consolidate them or is it like Nami?
But yeah I could see a scenario where someone that you know might have saw you enter your pw. They could just wait till you go to the bathroom and take a pic of your seedphrase and steal your funds at any random time so you would never know would it was 🤔
I guess if the spending password gets cracked, the funds are gone regardless. Maybe this tradeoff makes sense. Just thinking out loud here. Never seen any other lite wallets do this though.

Also I got a little problem:
I can't receive anything on the new lace wallet that I just created, I got the invalid address message from another wallet platforms.
Handle integration still needs implementing. It exponentially increases UX. @adahandle
Not sure about this functionality being here, showing passphrase and what's the logic behind this. Just a disaster waiting to happen or maybe I'm just too cautious ⚠️

Isn't the "eye" icon representing a visible/hidden password the opposite of what it usually is?

Transaction history didn't work ❌
Hosky-swap.io is the only authorized dapp on @lace_io.

Has dApp integration and it is the one I use. Very feature packed but it is very cluttered and confusing if you are not a tech nerd. @lace_io Was just released and it seems to have a much cleaner UI while still having dApp integration. Haven't tried it yet

Just added Lace extension on the desktop. Looking very sharp and easy to navigate. Options to view tokens/NFTs and also stake your ADA. Great job @lace_io
I just sent ya some. It said it went through, showing the amount went down in wallet, but not showing on transactions section. :(

how can you compete with @lace_io now that they have an address book feature? Will you add more utility to the handles?
I set up my lace wallet and the first transaction I tried I got an error message that it isn't a valid address
Ok, thanks a bunch. I have another question: does @lace_io support dApp natively on mobile or have up update Lace several times to support one by one? For example now Eternl supports only few dApp from mobile app. We need something running on mobile to boost the whole ecosystem.
Testing @lace_io preprod right now:
- Light and minimalistic
- Tokens / NFTs / Txs / Staking (everything there)
- You can set and send token bundles to different adresses.
- Address book to save favorite wallets.
- Dark mode
