A few weeks ago, I stepped outside of my comfort zone and attended a virtual mixer. With strangers. A lot of them.
I hate networking events and double that if they are virtual. I almost flaked at the last minute but Lex Roman always has fantastic events. Plus I wanted to celebrate the one-year anniversary of The Legends Network.
And I actually had a good time! I don't know if I would do it again but that's not the point.
I first joined The Legends Network because I wanted access to Lex's paywalled articles. I'll be honest that the network wasn't the draw; it was Lex's expertise. If you ever wanted to start a paid newsletter, Lex is THE resource.
As I started to explore more resources in their site, Revenue Rulebreaker, I appreciated their approach to different online revenue streams. So I upped my membership to Lifetime Legends status because I want to make money online and I believe in Lex's vision. Win-win!
Currently there are around 160 members in The Legends Network, and they are an eclectic mix of media entrepreneurs, agency owners, educators, bloggers, creators, and more. Everyone I've met so far has great energy, and the next milestone is 200 legends.

I cannot say enough good things about The Legends Network mixers Lex Roman puts together for her members a couple of times a year.
Seriously! This event doesn't kick off until 2:00 PM today, and she has already delivered a ton of value via an email, a detailed attendee list with matches to maximize networking, and an event guide that details exactly how to make the most of your attendance.
Then, during the event, members get _LIVE_ freaking music by Benjamín Mora and three rounds of networking session matches that she personally makes with deep intention every. single. time.
We always end up developing real relationships that lead to partnerships, friendships, and so much more.
I can say, without a doubt, if you're not a Legend, you are 1000% missing out.

Despite everything *gestures wildly* MAYBE.
⭐️ I made a new best friend in Devin Lee. A FRIEND?! IN THIS ECONOMY?! Yes! We got to meet in real life this summer, and it's weird how you can meet someone for the first time and feel like you've known them forever.
⭐️ I got crystal clear on where I'm going (and what I'm leaving behind), thanks to a clarity workshop from Laura Green. It's still a long road ahead, but we're moving in the right direction!
⭐️ I’ve grown my email list more this year than in the past five years combined of running this ding dang business—thanks to swaps, guest interviews, and new connections.
