🤝MELD is partnering with @avalabsofficial to bring the MELD protocol to #Avalanche as part of our broader EVM initiative! 🎉
Once the architecture and endpoint have been developed for Multichain, the MELD token will initially act as a bridge across EVM chains before eventually allowing transactions to and from Cardano.
MELD, the new banking stack on the Cardano blockchain, will be going on testnet on Jan 16 2023. The innovative new dApp will allow fiat/crypto loans against crypto collateral. The are going to be a huge, new addition to the Cardano blockchain and they are also going multichain.
At the end you say they're leaving Cardano, but that's not accurate is it? They're becoming a multi-chain protocol and remaining on Cardano, or did he say they're actually migrating off of Cardano?
They are NOT leaving Cardano! They are going multichain. I confirmed it in the Discord.
Meld is not leaving Cardano, they are going multichain with Cardano as the house of the protocol.
I can't speak for MELD but since you tagged me Chris I am pretty sure MELD's plan has long been cross-chain, with integrations coming to Multichain and Kyber Network for MELD products, borrowing, lending... etc... while also bridging with Cardano and Milkomeda as well.
If MELD goes multichain, VC's will not see any reason to promote it on Cardano. They will promote Avalanche as the chain to use because of meld and promoting Cardano as a useless chain, thus in their eyes MELD is leaving Cardano.
Can you believe @MELD_Defi will be leaving Cardano in the summer when their NEO Bank launches and become their own L1? This is huge news & a big loss for Cardano.
.This is not true.. They are simply expanding to an Avalanche subnet as part of their multichain rollout.
Question: Did @MELD_Defi use the #CardanoCommunity to fund it's development, then abandoned us to build it's own blockchain filled with multiple hack-able bridges.

I don't think that's accurate. @MELD_Defi is a #Cardano Multichain project. They already built the #Akamon bridge to Polygon, partnered with @NervosNetwork's #ForceBridge, and will also operate in a #Avalanche subnet. Perhaps, @kenblaue can clarify?

was incorrect with this statement. @MELD_Defi will not be leaving #Cardano. They will be a multi-chain platform with @avalancheavax being one of the chains using the Avax subnet tech.
Am i wrong for not hearing you say that they would leave $ADA Rob? You sayd they partnerd op with the $AVAX ecosystem to become multichain...
I said it in todays video that I must have heard Ken incorrectly. Meld stays on Cardano but will also be partnering with Avalanche
I think it's absolutely great. Cardano protocols need to be battle tested in multichain. Else Cardano is just an echo chamber. Now we'll see exactly if Cardano is just smokes and mirrors or means business.

Its not about the post, its a video where this guy said "spoiler alert, meld is leaving Cardano to build their own L1" maybe he said it the wrong way

MELD is not leaving Cardano, but instead it will have a *SECONDARY SUBNET* on avax, while the *MAINNET *is on Cardano.
Rob from @NewsAsset said at the end "spoiler alert", when the NEO Bank launches in summer 2023, Meld will be leaving Cardano & become their own L1. Again, we need someone from @MELD_Defi to clarify/verify this?
