I met Great at the first Dribbble Lagos meet in 2017 or 2018. Great announced he was holding a user journey map workshop a few weeks later. I attended and he shared from the wealth of his knowledge. This is only one of the various initiatives he has held and led.
As a fellow Designer, I have learnt a lot from Great and I can boldly recommend him for any award for his immense contribution to the Design space in Nigeria.

Coming into the design space as a junior product designer, it was a little bit hard getting other Senior Designers to answer your seemingly stupid questions but no questions were stupid for Great. He was always ready to listen and share his exceptional thoughts and experiences and He just sorts of gets me. He has helped me gain confidence as the designer that I am today, and I am always amazed by the things he has done and I look up to him to hopefully do the same someday.

In the early stages of my career, I had a lot of learning to do, and at the time, I was confused about which path in design I wanted to pursue. I was mainly focused on the visual side because I struggled with the technical and experiential aspects. I decided to attend a design meetup hosted by Google, and Great was one of the speakers. On that day, he spoke about UX design and specifically how to create user journeys. His ability to simplify such a complex UX topic made it a lot easier for me to incorporate it into my work life and learn more UX concepts. After that, he was also very helpful whenever I needed assistance with any design-related work. This support significantly contributed to my personal and professional growth.
