The PMA Core course covered many topics on the practicalities needed for strategic execution, launch excellence, and methodology behind productive marketing and thinking.

I was able to refresh some skills, polish ways of thinking and look through another lens of PMM meeting peers from other industries.

I also left with new ideas in my current portfolio strategy to take back and implement within our teams.

I spent a full day last week taking part in Product Marketing Alliance’s Product Marketing Manager (PMM) Core Certificate's in-person training, and I’m still feeling energized by the experience. ⚡🙌

As part of the curriculum and team-based exercises, PMA emphasized the importance of cross-functional alignment in successful Go-To-Market strategies. One quote that resonated with me:

“Product marketing is the glue that binds product, sales, and customer success together.”💡🧬

This workshop reinforced the idea that effective product marketing isn't just about messaging or sales enablement—it's about strategically ensuring every team is aligned and moving towards the same goal. 🚀 👀

Thankful to have had the chance to learn from the insightful Anna Kovalenko, network with fellow product marketers in the GTA, and start my journey towards obtaining this certificate, hopefully by the end of summer. 📚 🌅
