I have been taking guitar lessons with Sean for just about 2 years now and cannot say enough good things about my experience. I came to Sean having taught myself a few basic chords off of YouTube and he was quickly able to take me to places I never could have imagined with my playing. Aside from Sean's absolute mastery of the guitar, he is also an unbelievable teacher - for people of all ages and skill levels. His constant patience and positive reenforcement has encouraged me to keep working towards my goals even when I feel I have hit a rut. If it's not already obvious, I would, without a doubt, recommend Sean to anyone looking to get into guitar for the first time or take their game to the next level - you will not be sorry!

Sean is one of the best music teachers we’ve ever had. I have a lot of kids and we have cycled through many music teachers, tutors, coaches, etc… Sean’s approach is upbeat and positive. My kids love their music lessons with Sean. He gets them working, practicing and happy to play their instruments. Sean is thoughtful about music selections for each of my kids. He is incredibly talented as he can pivot from one instrument to another even within one kid’s lesson (guitar, bass, uke, drums).

Sean is one of the best music teachers I've ever seen in action. My son Charlie learns guitar with Sean and he didn't know how to play any musical instrument before he began working with Sean during the pandemic. Now, 2 years later, he writes his own lyrics and composes his own songs on the Guitar and sings and plays beautifully. It's astonishing. We even sing along to his original songs as a family. We couldn't have imagined it was possible!

I have been taking lessons with Sean McCann for about 2 and a half years now. He has been the main catalyst in my progression as a guitar player and gotten me to a place in my playing I did not think I could achieve! I believe Sean can teach players of all levels. He has a lot of patience and positive reinforcement with beginners and knows how to push more advanced players and make complicated concepts simple to comprehend. Something I think is unique about Sean and maybe separates him from other teachers is he is well versed in basically all genres of music. I would 100% recommend Sean to anyone wanting to learn guitar, and have already done so with some of my friends who are also satisfied customers!!!

Sean is a great teacher, person, and mentor! He has really helped me develop my songwriting skills, rhythm guitar, and music theory. Sean is patient, fun, and the lessons always fly by. He keeps me motivated and is not afraid to push me to be my best! I would highly recommend him as a teacher :)

Sean knows exactly what his students are capable of and is willing to make them feel comfortable with the guitar not matter what! Doesn’t matter if the classes are online or in person they are always very productive.

I had a last minute audition where I needed to sing and play guitar. Sean was able to teach me the song on guitar in 1 week. We booked in multiple lessons and he cleared some of his week to accommodate me. I nailed my audition and felt super prepared.
