Congrats, just installed and will give a try but the first 3 minutes are amazing. Well crafted, onboarding and the UI/UX is the best. 🎉
Hey Fedor,
You guys did a great job with Alfread app. My Pocket, Chrome Bookmars and Chrome Reading list is full with unread saving articles. I installed today and managed to read some good articles I saved before. All those cool features I found on it I needed badly. Congrats
Congrats! This is big! Well designed app, even while on beta :)
My former colleague @shkliarau launched his side-project @AlfreadHQ ! It was cool to follow the journey from idea to launch. You can really see how much thought and attention to detail went into this – shows how far an indie developer can (still) go.
Been digging the simple UI style of @_CroutonApp and the uniqueness of @AlfreadHQ…

Alfread is an amazing app that brings deliberation and attention to online reading. It has helped me understand how I read best (comfortable chair, inspiring space, tasty drink), pick out the most compelling reads (after all, the article has to appeal to me twice if I am to pick it out of my reading list), and better comprehend/integrate the things I read. Thanks for making such a beautiful, useful app.
This clever read-it-later app actually helps you read all those articles you saved knowtechie.com/this-clever-re…

App looks very nice. Looks like somebody really made it with love.

I’m a vociferous Pocket user, going on 10 years. I’ve repeatedly asked them to add a shuffle or random article button. This app, by virtue of its Tinder-like interface, makes everything feel fun again, just seeing one article at a time makes you think more about which to read and is a nice reminder of articles you were once excited to read. Improvements I’d like to see - turn off all the reading goals, I don’t care how many I’ve read. Also gesture choices - e.g. I don’t archive articles, but i would like to delete them with a left swipe. Deleting is many taps currently. I don’t necessarily want to see the article again 24hr later by swiping right either, how about right swipe = don’t show again? Options like this would be great. Overall though, and for a first version, great!
has matured rapidly since its first beta. Such a breakthrough app for article readers on the iPhone.
