I just finished Shreyas Doshi's fantastic course - Managing your PM Career. Great content, great community.
What differentiated this course for me is - like all great products - it focuses on creating new, impactful behaviors. It has theory, context, frameworks, sure. But they are all in support of creating tangible outcomes.
And the community is simply stellar.
I've always been an eager learner but a shitty investor in myself. So glad @_neilbhatt recommended @shreyas course. Just got done with it & can label it a MUST DO for seasoned & passionate #product people. It's a powerhouse! maven.com/shreyas-doshi/…
I have always been sceptical about such online courses, but with Shreyas, I knew the product won't be anything less than magnificent. Highly recommended. Thank you @shreyas
Just finished @shreyas’s course and impressed with how relatable he was and nuanced his points were. He never framed anything as black/white, but instead encouraged a way to navigate different issues thoughtfully with intentionality. Pretty key not just in product but in life.
Still processing everything I learned from @shreyas's course on "Managing Your PM Career" — *full* of nuggets of wisdom for managing your career like you manage your products (aka intentionally, working backwards) and super applicable and practical for senior+ product leaders!
This is one of the best investments of time and money I’ve made in a long time. Shreyas is an engaging and inspiring teacher. I walked away with practical tips and a blueprint to map my career arc. Highly recommend! #productmanagement #productmanager
I attended a 2-day session last weekend on “ Managing your PM career 2023 & beyond.” by Shreyas Doshi. The two days journey was enlightning and invigorating, to say the least. The course material was very well thought through and grounded in reality. The current macroeconomic conditions and the exciting things coming up in the next 5 - 10 years were considered for all the topics discussed. The quality of the 200+ cohorts who attended the event was exceptional.
I attended Shreyas Doshi's “Managing your PM career: 2023 & beyond” over the weekend and would rate it 10/10. It has really good content in form of frameworks, tactics and advice from industry leaders relevant to all PMs irrespective of your levels.
I’d highly recommend you to sign up for the next cohort when it becomes available #careeradvice #productmanagers

Thank you Shreyas. So many gems of wisdom from a decade, packed into 8hrs. Loved meeting fellow PMs. Refreshing weekend! 💫
Took a great course over the weekend with the great Shreyas Doshi and several other PM's looking to supercharge their career growth. I highly recommend it for anyone in the field who's a Sr. PM and above looking to take the reins on their career path and have the tools needed to excel moving forward. I also got to expand my network with some of the most thoughtful and talented PM's in the business. #growth #career #network #product #productmanagement
Last weekend I took Shreyas Doshi’s course on Managing your PM career in 2023 & beyond. I attended Shreyas Doshi's PM Career Course through Maven this weekend. Two days well spent!
Thank you Shreyas, Jahnavi, Shreman, Randhir, Margarete, and Ameen R. for putting together the content, templates, and activities.

Just completed a course this weekend with Shreyas Doshi on managing your (PM) career. While the course is explicitly targeted towards PMs, a lot of the content is REALLY helpful for all leadership positions (I'm Engineering inclined myself). He provides thoughtful and thorough frameworks on how to think about your life priorities, goals, strategic and day-to-day career management, messaging and EVERYTHING in between. Best of all, it's grounded in reality and not cookie cutter advice that's pervasive on social media. I encourage everyone to invest in your career and register for his future cohorts here - https://lnkd.in/gK-J_Ey3
If the price tag gives you pause, consider that it will pay back many times over as soon as your next promotion discussion with your manager (which is one of the things he will talk about). If you would like to talk to someone who has taken the course, I'm happy to be that person.
Over the weekend, I took Shreyas Doshi's course on Managing your PM career in 2023 & beyond. It was packed with insights covering the long-arc of one’s career to the tactical next steps to take today. I can’t say enough good things about it.
For PMs interested in learning from the master himself, stay on the lookout for the next cohort. If you don’t already follow Shreyas, you’re missing out.

I recently finished a weekend long cohort-based course for Senior PMs & Leaders - “Managing your PM career” by Shreyas Doshi. It was a fantastic investment of time as Shreyas shared with everyone his learnings and wisdoms he learnt throughout his long PM career. I have been consuming Shreyas’ content for few years now and it has shaped my thinking and learning directly from him was a great joy. Aside from the core course & a dozen of frameworks for clear thinking, what I liked the most were his candid answers to all of the questions asked. All answers about frameworks for clarity, succeeding as introvert PM, managing vs IC, etc. created lightbulb moments for me. Highly recommended!
This last weekend I attended Shreyas Doshi course “Managing your PM career: 2023 & beyond”. It was truly time best spent and highly recommend it to all senior PMs in my network.
It covered lots of ground, from establishing a mental model of how to think of career to tactics on what to do. The best part was the cohort based learning where you get to hear different perspectives about how to navigate career journey.
Plus, you get to see the master Shreyas Doshi tell candid stories from his career.
There is price to pay for everything in the end! Choosing what’s best for our life is the best strategy..Loved your session yesterday Shreyas 🙏
Feeling inspired after participating in a two-day workshop this past weekend on “Managing your PM career in 2023 & beyond” created and hosted by Shreyas Doshi. The cohort style program was enlightening, heavily grounded in reality and provided tangible ways to manage your PM career in today’s ever-changing macroeconomic environment. Plus, you get to hear Shreyas share candid stories and learnings from his impressive career. Highly recommend the course for any senior PMs and PM leaders who are seeking how to better navigate their career journeys.
Here are my top 3 takeaways:
1) Superpower/Liability framework: Focus on not only identifying and turbocharging your superpower but also on bringing your liabilities to the median/average
2) Career Ladder vs. Map: Don’t treat your career as a static ladder that only goes up. Rather, see it as a map that you need to explore. This can include switching between manager and IC roles or reducing scope to join a more prestigious company
3) Success is Time Optionality: Success is not money, fame or power. Success is reaching a state where you decide how much time to spend on your career, family, health, friends, hobbies, etc. and measuring your success against your ability to spend time in your top 3 areas

I was fortunate to attend Shreyas "Managing your PM career in 2023 & beyond" this weekend and I want to share - every single minute was worth my time. It is rare these days that I am able to listen for 5 hours straight for two days - I was glued to my chair. The value that Shreyas created for all the participants is going to help us for decades to come. I am not even kidding.
Among many, three key actionable takeaways that can help anyone reading this post:
1. Shitty First Draft: The first draft of anything is going to be shitty, and it is okay for it to be shitty. Just start. Just do it. Continuous improvement/polishing is the key.
2. Competence > Confidence: To deal with imposter syndrome (lack of confidence), focus on building competence of your craft. There is no alternative to hard work. Confidence will follow.
3. 3-5 year career lighthouse goal: Manage your career as a product. Define the end-state and work backwards from it.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including how to develop a career plan, network with industry professionals, stand out in the job market, how to select the winning offer, and negotiating tactics. Highly highly highly recommend for Sr. PM and above who want to level up and learn from the top 1%. The course has TONS of material, tactics, actionable insights, crazy networking opportunities, and a few goodies :)

Shreyas Doshi's weekend seminar for experienced PMs is probably the best investment I’ve made this year.
"Manage your career like you manage your products". We know this, but few of us actually do it, and we fool ourselves in many ways.
Sharing more takeaways while keeping them concise will risk sounding like fortune cookie wisdom, and fail to reflect the depth and nuance that Shreyas added.
What I can say is that I’ll go back to the course content the next time I’m thinking about:
- How to define success at different stages in life (and create time optionality for what matters most)
- How to think about your career path (ladder vs. map) and about the generalist vs. specialist puzzle
- How to balance product work across impact, execution, and optics
- How to evaluate PM performance in a way that doesn’t suck
- How to compare different offers, company stages, and the type of PM hat they require, taking into account Founder-PM fit
Many of us develop an intuitive sense for how to navigate these questions, but Shreyas does something that feels like magic: he gives you the right words to talk about them. Thanks a lot Shreyas!

💡 Feeling inspired by Shreyas Doshi's workshop on managing your PM career.
Some key takeaways that I will be practicing or reflecting back on:
1. Pymaglion effect: the psychological phenomenon in which high expectations lead to improved performance in a given area
2. Definition of success as time optionality: stack ranking life priorities and measuring your success against your ability to spend time in your top 3 areas
3. Superpower/Liability framework: Focus on not only identifying and turbocharging your superpower but also on bringing your liabilities to median/average

Shreyas Doshi's workshop on managing your PM career was timely and an eye opener is many aspects.
Things I plan to think over before the new year:
1. Establish my 3-year lighthouse goal for Jan 2026.
2. Utilize LMS framework to build my strengths to superpowers while ensuring my weaknesses are upleveled to average.
3. Consciously identify missing skills from the below framework & build a plan to develop them.

Shreyas Doshi's thoughtfully designed and masterfully delivered PM career workshop is the best time I spent so far this year. It gets at the heart of all - what is important to you, what are your lighthouse goals in a certain time horizon. It really reminds me to self reflect more often and examine if what I am doing help me get closer to my lighthouse goals.
In addition, we (yes there is an amazing cohort of senior PMs from all walks of life) all walk away equipped with a set of practical and tactical frameworks to use to design and manage our career development.
I 1000% recommend this! #careerdevelopment
This seminar provides advanced frameworks and specific practical techniques for Product Management Leaders to navigate their careers more effectively. There are years of wisdom condensed in a few hours delivered in a high quality curated format. I highly recommend it to any PM leader looking for thought-provoking perspectives and growth.
Thank you Shreyas Doshi for the inspiring session this past weekend and for the work that you do for the PM community.

Highly recommend this seminar by Shreyas Doshi if you're looking to level-up in your PM career! I joined the December cohort, and it was the best investment I made in myself in 2022. There were takeaways that were immediately actionable and other very thought-provoking prompts that I'm still ruminating about.
