I realized that I was doing exactly what you predicted, which was thinking about upgrading and not making the decision until I'd read several e-mail messages. Your techniques work!

I truly believe 2025 is the year of the micro creator. 🚀
What excites me most is seeing platforms like YouTube, Threads, and LinkedIn prioritize independent voices—thought leaders, coaches, creatives, and everyday people with a unique perspective—on everyone's Recommended Feed.
There's something special about discovering a piece of content with just a few hundred views that completely shifts your perspective or brightens your day. I always feel compelled to support those creators.
Lately, I've been enjoying Lex Roman's newsletters Low Energy Leads. She has a refreshingly chill yet insightful interview with Metricool, sharing how she built a 6-figure business without needing big-budget production. Worth a read!

This really helped level up my messaging for the @climateproof.news paid membership tier.
It's a must read for all those wondering morosely why they can't get upgrades.
Everything I read from Lex helps make me money, so newsletter writers of the world, what are you waiting for?

One of my favorite #SRCCON sessions this year was hosted by Lex and
@lizkellynelson.com
. Excited to support them and learn more over the next year.
I'd encourage anyone interested in newsletters and our changing media ecosystem to check out Lex's work and contribute to their summer fundraiser.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Lex's Saturday morning email is my favorite thing to read (with coffee, of course!).
This is a new frontier for journalism. Lex helps journalists wrap their arms around the business and process of going alone. Journalists know how to tell stories. Lex helps them make a living while doing it.

This online course is excellent. Lex is gentle and encouraging. The newsletter course is all about keeping it MVP, maintaining momentum, and not second guessing yourself.
In fact it is so easy that a 10 year old could do it. My newsletter is targeting parents and teachers K to 8. So, naturally I involved my two kids, 10 and 13.
They loved the mini-lesson on "Designing Your Newsletter". It's their summer break, and wow, this was fun for them.
I could tell that they felt that Lex was speaking directly to them through the camera. The result: A solid newsletter header, taglines, and some playful social media headers that fit the value proposition of the newsletter.
Our brand feel was done in just 90 minutes, no brand guides and no busy work. If a 10 year old could take this course, you will enjoy it too.
PS if you want more support and strategies, joining Legends will be more than worth the cost of the course.

1000% I would say no if you invited me to a virtual networking event on Zoom-- unless your name is Lex Roman and then I'm clearing my damn...

If you run a newsletter (or want to) you simply MUST subscribe to Lex’s work.

My partnership with Lex was as unique as it was successful.
I've done a lot of various sponsorship and ad campaigns over the years and have never done one that felt as customized and detailed as what Lex did.
It was a true partnership designed not just to drive sales to my membership, but to connect the right people with the right offer so that everyone would win.
And that's exactly what happened.
I got a bunch of new clients, members, subscribers, and followers - all of whom have proven to be a perfect fit for the strategies I teach and products I offer.
It was a home run partnership and I look forward to doing another one with Lex down the road.

I am excited to share that I completed Lex Roman’s
🎉 “Launch Your Paid Newsletter”
course and I have to give it two thumbs up.
This course is informative, and gets directly to the point on how a person can launch a profitable newsletter right now.
It offers tactical tips and honest advice which will give a person enough confidence to select an email service provider platform, know how to simply design your first newsletter, all the way through how to get subscribers and make money off of your newsletter.
If you feel overwhelmed by all the different courses and webinars out there on this topic, I highly recommend this one from Lex. She keeps it real and makes the content approachable and easy to consume.
Maybe now I can jump the gun and start that newsletter I’ve been thinking about. Ha!Â

Luck is the intersection of preparedness and opportunity.
I joined Lex Roman's community of Legends a few months ago and today we had a mixer.... Luck be a Legend...
Check out how prepared she was... delivering value to help every participant make the most of the event... a list of participants and so much more.
It's amazing what a difference a little bit of effort in being prepared can make...

Most growth advice content is sleazy or dreary. I hate sifting through it to get the answers I need. This newsletter is such a bright spot. It’s truly helpful, and it relieves the sensation that I’m shouting into the internet alone.

Lex really knows their shit. Not only do they have a ton of experience with the growth marketing and finding your buyers, but their communication style is straightforward, practical, easy to understand, and at the same time entertaining and extremely valuable. I highly recommend the Stay Booked Roadmap and I'm so excited to look at this updated copy.
