Cardano Island on Virtua Prime Pre-mint countdown. Are the condos worth 200 ADA? Also, what do you do with cardonium ?
It's not failed, it's just so frustrating to see project after project asking for significant mint amounts but failing with basic business skills, like comms. They fudded themselves by not being clear at the outset. Fail to plan and all that
I know thatโs right but it still seems like this land sale is a rushed, cash grab from a company that is more concerned about making a quick buck than whatโs in the best interest of the Cardano community, imho. Iโm not an OG and respect your opinion but something seems off here

This right here #Cardano. The statements being made against Virtua is crazy. ANYONE that attended the Summit will remember the AMAZING 3d space we all explored, communicated and searched and completed puzzles. A metaverse should not CARE about #cryptocurrency.
Project is large and cross chain which is bullish, I think most peoples issue is the IOHK support and it being branded by Virtua as Cardano's #1 metaverse with Cardano HQ located there. I think, you pull that and no one would have a problem with this
I'm not sure.
I read that Cardano Islands runs on Cardano.
Virtua itself on Polygon.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

I get what you are saying @IOHK_Josh but you have a metaverse like @Pavia_io with 18k wallets being built using Cardano chain all about interoperability attempting to forge links with metas on other chains which jives with what you are saying . Why not plant the flag there?

@virtua_official is a company with 200+ employees building and developing for several years.
Theyโve been working with @InputOutputHK before the Cardano Summit in 2021.
The way I see it, theyโve proven development, then showed up for a public sale.
The most expensive and worst minting ever on the Cardano network.
Unable to buy or access the using nami for nearly 30 minutes on launch of the premint.
So many people losing their 4 star plots because the transaction "didn't register"
help me understand @IOHK_Josh, so much liquidity being drained from the cardano NFT-space for stuff being built on polygon. don't understand why we're supporting this
5/ people are mad IOG is supporting them over other projects? Do you remember that Virtua hosted Cardano summit last year? or have you not been here long enough to remember? Also, why can't they support multiple?
As far as I am aware, it is being built on Polygon with some cross chain assets from Cardano. Will be needing a metamask wallet to interact with the metaverse down the line
Maybe it was a misunderstanding on my part. Was on their Discord Voice chat and was told that would need a Metmask wallet to interact with some of the assets. I figured I would need both Cardano Wallet and Metamask. I actually like the fact that it is Cross Chain
It is brutal @IOHKMedia has went with Virtua rather than a homegrown metaverse like @Pavia_io or another using the Cardano blockchain. Seems like a great way for Virtua to latch onto massive community off Polygon for success.

2/2 not a big fan of how they approached the space with zero community building and said they were the official home of Cardano. There is still time to right the ship but they are certainly no @CornucopiasGame with 24k mint sold out in less than 19 secs.
yep and that's ADA that they'll,most likely,promptly dump and get that money into polygon or eth and we'll never see that money again. I understand the intention behind this but I'm still not convinced at all that this will benefit the Cardano community (if any) more than Virtua
So let me get this straight. A failed eth metaverse came to #cardano, isn't even being built on cardano, used big names like @hoskytoken to give them cred, policy ID isn't even locked
... and people thought this was a good idea?
We have had some questions about unlocked policy ID - this is because todays sale is for the deed which entitles you to a LAND claim. This is where you will choose the physical location of your land. The LAND claim event is in 6 weeks. Land parcels will have a locked policy ID.

Will the IOHK be involved in its core for the build up of this project? Been checking around but beside Josh being active in the utilities AMA, I don't see much
The real problem is that when ADA goes on a massive bullrun, Virtua won't have the community or established value to warrant paying full price. If you jack mint up enough you make yourself an exception to the 1 ADA = 1 ADA rule. I expect to see pricing in soon
My only complaint is the fact that I have been waiting 13 hours to recieve my nft
Anyone that doesnโt at least get a 200 $ADA condo will regret it later. This metaverse is further ahead than any other on Cardano.
And to clarify! Cardano Island is built on Cardano. Transactions/marketplace will be in $ADA and not $TVK. Their main metaverse virtua prime is in $TVK
